Message I installed the boost guage in my dual pillar pod today, although it's not competely done yet - haven't spliced the the illumination wires yet, although they are routed to where they need to be (behind left pod). Guage works great, I tapped into the plenum behind the balance tube, and the adaptor that came with my guage fit perfectly, amaingly enough. Another good thing is that it appears I have no big boost leaks - vacuum sits at about 20ish at idle, and when you're driving and are off the gas, it falls to about 22, which I believe is normal. Boosts to ~9-9.5psi, which seems right, I'm stock other than intake. I think you owe me some bet money, PE :)
So my water temp guage is just sitting in the pod, non-functional for now, but I did route some illumination wires for it along with the boost guage wires, so hopefully tomorrow I can get it lit up when I splice everything, and install it as soon as I can. I don't like non-functional guages, but I can't take any more routing for at least a few days. Quick question though: is the FAQ correct in telling what illumination wires to splice into? I used search, and people were saying you should splice into different wires, but didn't say which ones... which ones should I go into? How can I get the Autometer guages to dim with the rest of the interior? My car is a '90, BTW.
Here's a pic of the guages:

And for those who didn't believe me, I did permamently install the turbo timer a day after I ghetto mounted it with duct tape LOL:

Very pleased with how that came out, very clean install. I like the direction my interior's going, everything is lighting up blue (hopefully I can find a way to get my guages to glow blue too) and clean. I planned it that way, so an AVCR and SAFC will match :)

Well that's all for now, I can post some pics of the guages lit up after I do it if anyone wants to see those.
Any info on my question about which illumination wires to splice into would be GREATLY appreciated as well.
